Renowned gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey is set to participate in the upcoming U.S. Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast, taking place on January 20, 2025, at the prestigious Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Bassey shared the exciting news on social media, shedding light on the significance of the event as a faith-centered, non-official gathering.
He explained, āThe Presidential Prayer Breakfast is a non-governmental, non-official event. It serves as a faith-based platform where prayers and worship are offered for the office of the president and the government of the nation.ā
Emphasizing the eventās long-standing tradition, Bassey noted that it is held once every four years, just before the presidential inauguration. āIt takes place every four years before the inauguration, as a prayer breakfast ahead of the new administration. Over time, it has attracted leaders and dignitaries from across the globe,ā he added.
The event, hosted by Rev. Marrie Turner, will feature powerful performances from prominent ministers such as Dr. Mario Bramnick, Dr. Mike Kingsley, Rebecca Macchi, and Ben Berquam.
