Mercy Chinwo’s former manager, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu ThankGod has refuted allegations of misappropriating $345,000, responding to accusations from the gospel artist’s camp with his side of the story.

Taking to social media, Ezekiel accused Chinwo of attempting to claim ownership of a catalog he allegedly financed entirely. He stated that he had transferred up to $625,000 to the singer over time, despite her claims of unfair treatment.

The manager also highlighted a 50/50 earnings agreement between himself and Chinwo, which, according to him, granted him rights to royalties and remittances from their collaborations. He alleged that Chinwo had leveraged law enforcement and religious connections to sway the narrative, painting him in a negative light.

Further, the former manager claimed he had invested heavily in her career, including providing financial support, housing, and other resources that contributed to her rise to prominence.

He also recounted his legal troubles, claiming he was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for nine days and extorted during the ordeal.

In closing, the former manager challenged Chinwo to publish her bank statements and songs recorded at least three years before their agreement as proof to substantiate her claims.
